"Try Again" began as the first piece of an emerging style. Throughout her experiments, Sigrid developed a passion for layering in an unconventional technique, distinct from her usual approach. This style has since become a hallmark of Sigrid's signature artistry.

The painting commenced with fluid movements, and after building a rich texture with thick layers of paint, Sigrid felt something was amiss and decided to try again. She removed much of the paint, experimented anew, and birthed an entirely fresh feeling and style. This innovative technique has since become integral to her work. The painting features a palette of warm, neutral hues, ranging from terracotta to brown, gold, light pink, and metallic shades like bronze, copper, and gold. These colors are Sigrid’s favorites and thus hold a cherished place in her heart.
